Acceptable documents are:\n<ul>\n<li>a passport<\/li>\n<li>an identity card<\/li>\n<li>an alien&#8217;s passport<\/li>\n<li>a refugee travel document<\/li>\n<li>an identity card issued by the Finnish Defence Forces with a chip and a photo.<\/li>\n<li><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">During the YKI test day, you\u00a0<strong>will not be allowed to use <\/strong><\/span>a phone,\u00a0 a watch, a laptop, a tablet or other electronic devices<span style=\"color: revert; font-family: 'Roboto Condensed', sans-serif; font-size: 1rem;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Listen and try to speak the language as much as possible. Practice and review the basic things.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>During the test<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Arrive early. If you\u2019re late, you\u2019ll not be able to participate in the test.<\/li>\n<li>The basic and intermediate level exams take approximately 4-5 hours to complete, and the advanced level exam takes up to 5-6 hours to complete.<\/li>\n<li>The test is performed in two parts:\n<ol>\n<li>Reading comprehension and writing subtests are performed in a classroom<\/li>\n<li>Listening comprehension and speaking subtests\u00a0are performed\u00a0in a studio environment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Read and listen the instructions carefully and follow them.<\/li>\n<li>Always try to answer every question and task.<\/li>\n<li>Finish all the subtests to earn the certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>After the exam<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The certificate arrives in the mail <strong>about two months<\/strong> after the test<\/li>\n<li>The certificate is an assessment of all the subtests in the exam<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n <!-- RSPEAK_STOP -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"    Instructions for test participants Before the test Register for the exam with a\u00a0selected test organizer (https:\/\/yki.opintopolku.fi\/yki\/ilmoittautuminen).
